Lopees are environmentally friendly reusable envelopes made from organic cotton. The material is strong, washable and hard-wearing and is grown in India, free from pesticides and chemicals, which further help the environment.

Lopees are made in India by our manufacturer who makes our products to our own designs. Our supplier uses a Fair Trade System which means the worker to the exporter share in the proceeds and this gives them all a better standard of living. The workers are men and women from 20-40 years old who have suffered hardship and have been retrained in sewing.

PrintTogether is the first and only printing company in Australia to offer collective green printing. By printing collectively, we save resources such as paper, energy, water, time and money preparing the press. At PrintTogether, if it’s not recycled, we don’t use it. This applies to both paper and post-production. Everything needs to be recyclable. Items such as laminates cannot be recycled and therefore end up in landfill. We refuse to use any materials that cannot be recycled.

All of our printing is produced lithographically, for a high quality finish. Our green printing achieves the same high production standards with significant environmental benefits. PrintTogether also uses vegetable based inks for all printed materials.

Eco Innovators Pty. Ltd. is a Melbourne based company that develops resources and runs projects promoting sustainability in design, production and consumption. The Eco Innovators Showcase is a temporary shop in a converted news stand pillar in Melbourne’s CBD set up to promote local designers engaging with sustainability in their practice and to encourage more sustainable consumption.
